I figured an appropriate wine to start this blog off with would be a summer themed wine and one of my favorites! This is called flipflop, we tried the cab sav (Cabernet sauvignon) which is my favorite! It was awesome. A little on the dry side but none the less very tasty. Hints of blackberry and cherry with a little pepper. We paired it with lemon, rosemary, tarragon cod and red potatoes. It was great!

New Beginnings
Welcome!
My name is Chasity. This is my first ever blog. I am a 20 something, recent college grad from Ohio University. I loved college but I love my life after college even more. My girlfriend and I love drinking wine, especially if we can get it for cheap! We are recent college grads so we aren't exactly rolling in money yet but that doesn't mean we drink our wine out of a box (Not that there is anything wrong with that. We've all done it). I wanted to start this blog because there are so many wines out there and I like some of them but hate others. This blog will help me remember what I've tried, what I liked, and what I didn't. I should also point out that I am not a wine connoisseur nor do I pretend to be. I know what I like and what tastes good to me. Hopefully this blog will help both you and me learn and grow in our taste for wine, all while staying on a budget!
